JENNA PARKER
Professional Triathlete Jenna Parker has been active since she was a young girl. Her swimming career started at age 5, while her dancing career extended from age 3 to 18. Growing up she also played soccer, lacrosse and field hockey. In High School, Jenna earned 12 Varsity letters competing on the field hockey, swimming and track teams at Lincoln Sudbury Regional High School.
In the pool, Jenna was a 2 time state champion in the 50 and 100 yard freestyle events. On the track, she earned All-American status as a member of the distance medley relay team. Jenna also earned Cum Laude status in the classroom.
In the fall of 2002, she enrolled as an undergraduate at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. While attaining a bachelors degree in Psychology, Jenna competed for the swimming, track and cycling teams. It was during her collegiate career that she first realized her potential as a triathlete. With a relentless pursuit of excellence, a positive attitude, and a genuine persona, Jenna has blazed her own path in an effort to achieve her dreams.
Since her graduation in the spring of 2006, Jenna has been competing Internationally as a Professional triathlete and is now working towards the London 2012 Olympics. Earlier this year, Jenna legally changed her last name from Shoemaker to Parker.
